• Work with the Child Study Team members, teachers, and parents to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs for students

• Monitor and evaluate the educational program of students with special learning needs both in and out of the district, through observations, review of school records, staff conferences, and written reports to determine whether the present educational program is the best suited for the students’ needs

• Assist the instructional staff through conferences, consultations, observations and demonstrations with classroom effective strategies and materials for all students

• Research current developments in learning theory and professional journals and provide information to instructional staff
